When GOD does a thing, He does a thing!
I ordered a pricey lotion I couldn't wait to get. Finally it arrived and when it did, I was so excited I used it right away. I'm sort of like a kid in a candy story when I have new things and believe me, it'sthe small things that make me happy. Anyhow, multiple reviews about this lotion said the smell is terrible but I decided to try it anyway. To me it smells fan-tas-tic! It reminds me of authentic cocoa butter with that nice chocolately fragrance. I dont just like the smell, I actually love the smell! Hum, come to think of it, I hope it doesn't make me hungryđ
So after using it twice today, I realized it's not the exact one I ordered. I went to my orders to double check and sure enough, it's slightly different. Now I know most people would say it's not that big of a difference, but I beg to differ. When you're relying on dermatological expertise and you've spent time reviewing the product, I'd say you definitely want to get what you ordered. Heck, whether you researched the product and received medical advice or not, the mere fact you spent your money and ordered an item, is enough validation as to why you should get what you paid for, period!
I called customer service, complained, and initially they told me to send it back and I'll be refunded. I didn't think that was appropriate since I had already used the product 2x. I sort of felt as if they'd repackage and resell. Maybe not, but it just didn't seem kosher to me. So I voiced my opinion, they placed me on hold for about 7 minutes, returned, and told me they're going to ship the item I ordered free of charge. There you have it, that's good business! The customer service rep said I can return the item, keep it, or do whatever I want with it. I decided I won't ship it back for the reason I stated earlier; I'd hate to think they may resell an item someone else has used. I won't be wasteful and through it away, so I'll keep it and use it. I mean, there's nothing wrong with it, it just happens to be something different from what I paid for. It's the same brand, but has a slightly different effect than my current need. Listen, what I have to say is, Bra-vo!đđž Look at GOD work! Soon I'll have 2 for the price of 1!
It's true that mistakes can be costly, but what holds the ultimate truth is, GOD will take a mess and turn it around for our good! Thank You Abba for Your continued favor even in the midst of my present storm.
